<![CDATA[The elderly should enjoy life in sufficiency and prosperity. They can enjoy work results of their labors in their youth and do not have to worry about the adequacy of their daily needs and the protection of their health. However, about 50 percent of the elderly in Jambi Province still decided to work for the last 5 years.This study aims to get a description of the characteristics of the working elderly and analyze the influencing factors of the working elderly in Jambi Province. The analytical method used is descriptive analysis and inferential analysis using binary logistic regression using data National Socio-Economic Survey or Survei Sosial Ekonomi Nasional (Susenas) of Jambi Province in March 2021. The findings in this study indicate the man activity of most of the elderly in Jambi Province is working (51,74%). The characteristics of the working elderly are dominated by the elderly living in rural areas, are male, do not have physical barriers, do not have health insurance, and married and have status as the head of the family have a greater tendency to still working in old age.
