<![CDATA[Poverty in Indonesia remains a significant social and economic challenge despite a decline in recent decades. This decline in poverty still does not fulfil the target set by the government in the 2020-2024 RPJMN. Therefore, the government needs to update existing policies in an effort to reduce poverty. In determining policies, it is necessry to consider the regional or spatial aspects because it is very likely that poverty in a region is influenced by poverty in the surrounding areas. This study aims to analyse the factors that influence poverty in Indonesia by considering spatial aspects. The analysis method used is spatial regression analysis using the Spatial Auto-Regressive (SAR) Model. The results of this study show that there is a spatial effect on the poverty rate in Indonesia as indicated by the Global Moran's I value of 0.6883. The percentage of the population that has ever suffered from illness has a positive and significant relationship with the poverty rate. Meanwhile, the percentage of the population 5 years and older who have ever used the internet has a negative and significant relationship with the poverty rate. Based on the results of the study, government intervention is needed to overcome the problem of poverty in Indonesia.]]>
