To provide a more comprehensive understanding of poverty issues, a multidimensional approach is essential, as poverty is inherently a multidimensional problem that cannot be adequately assessed through a single dimension alone. This study aims to present an overview of multidimensional poverty in Tanjung Jabung Barat Regency and to analyze the determinants of multidimensional poverty in the region. This study employs binary logistic regression analysis using household-level data obtained from the March 2025 SUSENAS survey. The results indicate that the age of the household head, gender of the household head, marital status of the household head, number of household members, literacy ability of the household head, educational attainment of the household head, employment status of the household head, sector of employment, place of residence, and household expenditure distribution group significantly affect the multidimensional poverty status of households. This study contributes as a complementary analysis to conventional monetary poverty measures by incorporating a non-monetary perspective, thereby providing new insights into the welfare conditions of the population.
