In the era of technological innovation, the use of Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software has become key in the product design process. This research aims to explore the development of CAD-based prototypes as an efficient solution in product design. The methodology used includes requirements analysis, design, and prototype testing using leading CAD software. The results show that CAD-based prototypes not only speed up the design process, but also improve accuracy and flexibility in design modifications. Additionally, the use of CAD allows for more effective collaboration between designers and other stakeholders, reducing errors that often occur in the production phase. The study concludes that the implementation of CAD-based prototypes can increase productivity and innovation in product development, and recommends the adoption of this technology in various industry sectors.
