The application of digital technology in zakat management has great potential to increase efficiency, transparency and ease of access for the community. This research aims to design a prototype design for the user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) of the zakat application using a Design Thinking approach. This method was chosen because it is able to understand user needs in depth through an iterative process involving five main stages: empathize, define, ideate, prototype, and test. In this research, data was collected through interviews and surveys with potential users to identify the main problems and needs in zakat management. The result is a zakat application prototype design that is intuitive, user-friendly, and meets specific user needs, such as simple donation features, transparent donation tracking, and zakat education. Initial evaluation shows that this prototype is able to increase user satisfaction and ease in carrying out zakat-related activities. This research contributes to the development of sharia-based financial technology and becomes a reference for developers of similar applications in the future.
