Pregnancy induces physiological changes due to hormonal fluctuations, particularly increased Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG), which may trigger nausea and vomiting (emesis gravidarum). If untreated, it may progress into hyperemesis gravidarum. Ginger essential oil in roll-on form is a non-pharmacological therapy that may reduce these symptoms. This quasi-experimental study with one group pretest-posttest design involved 30 pregnant women experiencing nausea and vomiting at H. Syahruddin Clinic, Tanjung Balai. PUQE-24 scoring was used before and after a 4-day intervention. Data were analyzed using Paired Sample T-Test. The mean score before intervention was 3.13 and after intervention was 1.77 with p-value 0.000 (<0.05). Conclusion: Ginger essential oil in roll-on form effectively reduces nausea and vomiting frequency in pregnant women.
