Breast cancer is one of the leading causes of death among women, so early detection through breast self-examination (BSE) is very important to carry out. However, the level of knowledge among women of reproductive age regarding BSE is still relatively low, so education is needed. This study aims to determine the effect of health education about BSE through video media on the knowledge of women of reproductive age in the early detection of breast cancer at the PONED Jatisampurna Community Health Center. The research method used a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental design and a one-group pre-test post-test approach. The sample consisted of 30 respondents selected using a purposive sampling technique. The research instruments consisted of a BSE knowledge questionnaire and an observation sheet. Data analysis included the Shapiro–Wilk normality test and the Paired T-Test. The results showed that the average knowledge score of respondents increased from 49.33 in the pre-test to 80.12 in the post-test. The Paired T-Test produced a p-value of 0.000 (p < 0.05), which means that there was a significant effect of BSE video education on increasing the knowledge of women of reproductive age at the PONED Jatisampurna Community Health Center. The conclusion shows that there is an effect of health education about BSE through video on the knowledge of women of reproductive age in the early detection of breast cancer at the PONED Jatisampurna Community Health Center.
