This study aims to analyze the effect of the use of a plastic pressing machine on the logistics efficiency and economic value of plastic waste management at the Wimalandaru Waste Bank. The use of pressing technology is seen as an operational innovation capable of reducing logistics costs by reducing material volume, thereby reducing delivery frequency and storage space requirements. This study uses a descriptive quantitative approach by comparing conditions before and after the implementation of the pressing machine on two types of materials, namely plastic gallons and plastic mineral water bottles. The results show that the pressing machine is able to reduce logistics costs significantly, by 96% for plastic gallons and 93% for plastic bottles, respectively. Economically, the use of the pressing machine increases the realized value of assets from a deficit to a surplus in gallon management, and increases profits by 223% in plastic bottle management. These findings confirm that the implementation of plastic pressing technology provides a substantial economic impact through cost efficiency, optimization of storage capacity, and increased added value of recycled materials.
