Choking is an emergency condition requiring rapid and appropriate management, particularly in children. Housewives, as individuals who are often closest to children, need adequate knowledge and skills to provide first aid. This community service activity aimed to improve housewives’ knowledge and skills in managing choking in children through simulation and audiovisual education. The activity was conducted on October 2, 2025, in the working area of Ranomuut Community Health Center, Manado, involving 30 housewives. Activities included a pre-test, audiovisual education, demonstration, simulation using a manikin, and post-test. The results showed that correct responses increased from 31% before the intervention to 97% after the intervention, while incorrect responses decreased from 69% to 3%. Audiovisual education followed by simulation improved participants’ knowledge and provided practical experience in managing choking in children.
