This study is motivated by the problem of students' low mathematical problem-solving skills. This study aims to examine the effect of implementing the IMPROVE learning model on students' mathematical problem-solving abilities, considering their mathematical disposition. This study used a quantitative approach with an experimental design and a 2 × 3 factorial design. All eighth-grade students of SMP Negeri 32 Pekanbaru in the 2025/2026 academic year served as the study population. The sample was selected using a cluster random sampling technique, resulting in class VIII.3 as the test class and class VIII.5 as the comparison class. The research instruments used consisted of a mathematical problem-solving ability test and a mathematical disposition questionnaire. Information analysis was conducted using a Two-Way ANOVA test, having previously met the requirements for normality and homogeneity. The results showed that the mathematical problem-solving abilities of students who participated in the IMPROVE learning model were more optimal than those who used conventional learning. In addition, there were differences in mathematical problem-solving abilities based on students' mathematical disposition levels. However, no joint influence was found between the IMPROVE learning model and mathematical disposition on students' mathematical problem-solving abilities. Based on these findings, the IMPROVE learning model can be used as an option in learning to improve students' mathematical problem-solving abilities.
