Environmental hygiene and health in Islamic boarding schools are often a very crucial problem. There are still many Islamic boarding schools that have less than clean environmental conditions which of course have an impact on health. The results of initial observations at Islamic Boarding School Y identified several significant environmental health problems. The Islamic boarding school reported that as many as 45 students were infected with skin diseases, with one of the contributing factors being the environment and the students' unclean living behavior. The purpose of this study is to analyze and comprehensively describe the environmental hygiene conditions of Islamic Boarding School Y, and the behavior (knowledge, attitudes, and actions) of students towards environmental cleanliness and the impact of the Islamic boarding school environment on the socio-economic of students. This research method uses a combined qualitative and quantitative descriptive research type using questionnaires, observations and interviews. The environmental sanitation conditions at Islamic boarding school Y are categorized as not meeting the requirements because the clean water sanitation conditions do not meet the criteria, poor waste management, non-functioning wastewater disposal facilities, limited toilets and high room occupancy density indicate that sanitation in Islamic boarding schools is still minimal and needs improvement efforts. The behavioral conditions of students, namely knowledge, attitudes and actions of students, are classified as low, indicating a lack of motivation and a low perception of priority towards cleanliness
