The cheese processing industry produces whey waste thathas the potential to pollute the environment if not utilizedoptimally. One effort to manage this waste is by processingwhey into Liquid Organic Fertilizer (POC), which is expectedto provide environmental, economic, and social benefits. This study aims to analyze the positive externalities of usingPOC made from whey waste on the environmental, economic, and social aspects based on the perceptions ofuser farmers. This study was conducted at PT MazaraatLokanatura Indonesia using a quantitative approach with asaturated sampling technique on all 15 POC user farmers.Data were collected through questionnaires, observation, and documentation, then analyzed using descriptiveanalysis and Structural Equation Modeling–Partial LeastSquares (SEM-PLS). The results show that the utilization ofwhey waste into POC provides positive externalities on theenvironmental aspect by reducing the use of chemicalfertilizers and improving the quality of agricultural land. From an economic aspect, POC can increase fertilizer costefficiency and provide added value to whey waste. From asocial aspect, the use of POC increases farmers' knowledgeabout environmentally friendly agriculture and strengthensthe relationship between the company and farmers.Utilizing whey waste as POC has the potential to supportmore sustainable waste management while providingbenefits to various parties.
