Ejector pump is an important component in the Fresh Water Generator system that functions to produce and maintain vacuum conditions to support the seawater evaporation process. This study aims to determine the effect of Miura type MLP-50N ejector pump damage on the performance of the Fresh Water Generator on MV Eastern Hope. The research method used was a quantitative method with simple linear regression analysis, t-test, and coefficient of determination assisted by Microsoft Excel. Data were obtained through observation, documentation, engine log book, instruction manual, and literature studies. The results showed that damage to ejector pump components such as impeller, mechanical seal, O-ring, and mouth ring caused a decrease in discharge pressure, resulting in reduced vacuum performance and freshwater production of the FWG. The analysis results showed an R² value of 99.77% and a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, proving that ejector pump damage has a significant effect on the performance of the Fresh Water Generator.
