Background: Post operative fracture pain is a common problem experienced by patients and can interfere with comfort and the recovery process. Pain management is not only carried out pharmacologically but can also be combined with non pharmacological therapies such as classical music therapy, which works through relaxation and distraction mechanisms. Objective: This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of Mozart classical music therapy in reducing pain scale in post operative fracture patients at Flamboyan 5 Ward, RSUD Dr. Moewardi. Methods: This study used a descriptive case study design involving two post-operative fracture patients. The intervention provided was Mozart classical music therapy for 15 minutes, twice daily for three consecutive days. Pain assessment was measured using the Numeric Rating Scale (NRS). Results: The results showed a decrease in pain scale in both respondents from moderate to mild pain after the intervention for three days. Conclusion: This study indicates that Mozart classical music therapy can be used as an effective non-pharmacological intervention to help reduce pain levels in post operative fracture patients.
