Background: Psychosocial development in preschool-aged children is heavily influenced by environmental stimulation and early emotional experiences. Children who do not receive adequate stimulation may experience delays in emotional, social, cognitive, and moral aspects. The aim of this study was to analyze the effect of group art therapy (collage) on the psychosocial development of preschool-aged children at TK NU 02 Situbondo. A pre-experimental design—specifically a one-group pre-test/post-test design—was employed to determine the impact of the intervention. The study sample consisted of 39 children selected based on specific criteria using a total sampling technique. Data collection instruments included observation sheets and questionnaires assessing psychosocial, emotional, social, cognitive, and moral development. Data analysis was performed using the Wilcoxon test. The results showed a p-value of 0.000 (< 0.05), indicating a significant effect of group art therapy (collage) on the psychosocial development of preschool-aged children before and after the intervention. Conclusion: Collage-based art therapy has a significant effect on the psychosocial development of preschool children. This intervention is effective in enhancing emotional, social, cognitive, and moral aspects, making it a viable alternative for stimulating psychosocial development in preschool-aged children.
