Healthcare services are an important community need that should be supported by a quality healthcare system, including the protection of medical record information privacy. Good privacy protection has the potential to be an important aspect in building trust in healthcare services. This study aimed to describe perceptions of medical record information privacy, describe public trust among healthcare service users, and analyze the relationship between perceptions of medical record information privacy and public trust among healthcare service users at RSUD Welas Asih. This quantitative study used a correlational design involving 97 respondents selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected using a four-point Likert-scale questionnaire that met validity and reliability requirements, then analyzed using univariate and bivariate analysis with the Spearman Rank test. The results showed that 53.6% of respondents had good perceptions of medical record information privacy, while 88.7% were categorized as trusting the healthcare services provided. A positive and significant relationship was found between the two variables (r = 0.641, p < 0.001). These results indicate that better perceptions of medical record information privacy are associated with higher public trust.
