Firdaus, M., Tamrin, T., Ramadhani, I. S, & Pratama, F. (2025). The Combination of Senduduk Fruit (Melastoma malabathricum) and Telang Flower (Clitoria ternatea) in Dye Sensitized Solar Cells. One of the main factors influencing the efficiency of DSSC is the type of dye used, as each dye can only absorb light within a specific wavelength range. This limitation can be overcome by mixing two or more types of dye with different absorption spectra, thereby broadening the light absorption range and enhancing the performance of the solar cell. This study aimed to investigate the effect of combining natural dyes derived from anthocyanins in senduduk fruit and butterfly pea flower at various ratios 1:1, 1:3, and 3:1 on DSSC efficiency. The research process consists of three main stages: DSSC structure preparation, DSSC layer assembly, and electrical characteristic measurements. The observed parameters include the generated voltage and current, maximum power output, Fill factor, and cell efficiency. The results show that the use of mixed dyes yields better performance than a single dye, with the best result achieved at a 1:3 ratio, producing Voc of 611 mV, Isc of 67,7 µA, Vmax of 275 mV, Imax of 0.0547 mA, Pmax of 15,0425 µW, and an efficiency of 0.0541%.
