Digital transformation in the tourism industry should generate not only service efficiency but also resource-efficient and environmentally oriented productivity. This study examines the effect of the digital work environment on green productivity and the moderating roles of digital fringe benefits and green fringe benefits among tourism service providers in Baubau, Indonesia. Data were collected through a quantitative survey of purposively selected employees and analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling in SmartPLS. The results show that the digital work environment has a positive and significant effect on green productivity. Digital fringe benefits strengthen this relationship, although the moderating effect is relatively small, whereas green fringe benefits do not exhibit a significant moderating role. Importance-Performance Map Analysis identifies digital fringe benefits as the primary improvement priority because of their high importance but comparatively low performance. The findings highlight the need to strengthen digital work systems and job-relevant digital support to advance green productivity in tourism services.
