Futsal is a sport that requires good cardiorespiratory endurance because players are required to perform activities with varying intensities during the game. One training method that can be used to improve cardiorespiratory endurance is Fartlek training. This study aims to determine the effect of Fartlek training on increasing VO?Max in futsal extracurricular students at SMPN 1 Sukamulia. This study used a quantitative approach with an experimental method and a One Group Pretest-Posttest design. The population and sample of the study amounted to 20 students who were determined using a total sampling technique. Data collection was carried out using the Multistage Fitness Test (MFT) during the pretest and posttest. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, the Shapiro-Wilk normality test, Levene's Test for homogeneity as an additional analysis, and the Paired Sample t-Test at a significance level of 0.05. The results showed that the average VO?Max increased from 31,800 in the pretest to 35,810 in the posttest, with an average increase of 4,010. The results of the Paired Sample t-Test showed a significance value of <0.001 (<0.05), so H? was rejected and H? was accepted. Thus, Fartlek training had a significant effect on increasing VO?Max of futsal extracurricular students at SMPN 1 Sukamulia.
