Kata kunci: smarthome, internet of things (IoT), kontrol lampu dan stopkontak, pemantauan suhu dan kelembapan, aplikasi mobile Abstract In this era of high mobility, homeowners often forget to switch off electrical devices, leading to energy waste and potential device damage. Unattended temperature and humidity can increase the risk of health problems for home residents. This research aims to develop an Internet of Things (IoT)-based smarthome system to control lights and power outlets and monitor home temperature and humidity via a smartphone application. The research methods include observation and literature study. Observations were conducted to understand the performance, weaknesses, and needs of current smarthome systems, while the literature study was used to gather data from related literature to strengthen the basis for system development. The developed system utilizes Firebase Realtime Database as an integration platform between hardware (NodeMCU ESP32, DHT22 sensor, and 8-channel relay) and the Flutter-based mobile application. The results show that the system can control lights and power outlets and monitor the temperature and humidity of the house in real-time. This system offers users convenience in managing electrical devices and monitoring their home environment through smartphones, helping to reduce energy wastage and enhance comfort and safety for residents. Keywords: smarthome, internet of things (IoT), light and power outlet control, temperature and humidity monitoring, mobile application
