The development of automation technology encourages the implementation of smart home systems that integrate electrical control, monitoring, and alternative energy sources. This study aims to design and implement an Arduino UNO R3-based smart home miniature using a hybrid power system, with PLN as the main source and photovoltaic (PV) as a backup source. An Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) was used to automatically transfer the power supply when the PLN voltage dropped below the predetermined threshold. The prototype integrates a Photocell sensor for outdoor lighting, a TTP223 touch sensor for interior lighting, an ACS712 sensor for monitoring battery current, and a PZEM-004T sensor for monitoring AC electrical parameters. Testing included electrical measurements and functional tests of each subsystem. The results showed average voltages of 18.66 V for the solar panel, 12.28 V for the battery, 219.64 V AC for PLN, and 220.68 V AC for the inverter. The maximum load power was 25.15 W with a current of 0.123 A. Functional testing of the ATS, Photocell, TTP223, RTC DS3231, and relay module achieved a 100% success rate. The prototype successfully integrated hybrid power sources, automated lighting, electrical monitoring, and Arduino-based control.
