This study analyzes the transformation of Qur’anic exegesis epistemology in the era of Artificial Intelligence (AI) by examining the relationship between technological intelligence and spiritual intelligence. It employs a qualitative method through library research and analysis, comparing classical and contemporary exegetical literature with generative AI responses to Qur’anic verses. Data are analyzed through identification, comparison, evaluation, and reconstruction. The findings indicate that AI has capacity to access, process, compare, and synthesize exegetical information, yet it cannot possess epistemological authority because of hallucinations, attribution errors, data bias, and decontextualization. AI is therefore positioned as an epistemic instrument supporting human interpretation. Spiritual intelligence functions as an epistemic and ethical dimension that directs interpretation toward divine orientation, morality, justice, benefit, and responsibility. This study proposes an integrative epistemological reconstruction positioning revelation as the normative source, exegetical tradition as the methodological foundation, reason as a critical instrument, AI as support, and humans as subjects of verification and interpretive accountability.
