This community service activity, conducted through the Community Service Program (Kuliah Kerja Nyata or KKN), aimed to increase public awareness of drainage cleanliness and maintenance in Kobak Pasir Hamlet, Indonesia. The activity began with coordination with the local neighborhood leader and direct observation of the drainage system. Observations revealed an accumulation of waste, bricks, and tree branches that obstructed water flow. The program involved cleaning drainage channels, collecting waste in trash bags, and disposing of it properly. The activity was supported by the neighborhood leader and several residents. However, community participation was limited because most residents worked as farmers and the program coincided with the harvest season. Nevertheless, the activity was completed through coordination and cooperation among participants. This program represents an initial effort to encourage public awareness of drainage cleanliness and environmental maintenance. Regular drainage maintenance, proper waste management, and active community participation are essential to maintain drainage functionality, prevent blockages, and reduce the risk of waterlogging and flooding in the surrounding residential environment.
