Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan memodifikasi persamaan minimal model dan menggunakannya untuk menganalisis hasil dari tes toleransi glukosa intravena dengan bantuan metode numerik. Minimal model termodifikasi yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini, terdiri dari tiga persamaan diferensial biasa. Persamaan diferensial pertama dan kedua menyatakan pengaruh insulin untuk mempercepat penyerapan glukosa, sedangkan persamaan diferensial ketiga menyatakan pengaruh glukosa untuk meningkatkan sekresi insulin. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa minimal model termodifikasi dan metode numerik dapat digunakan untuk analisis sistem  glukosa insulin pada orang sehat dan penderita diabetes tipe 2. Rata-rata nilai koefisien deterministik (R2) antara hasil minimal model termodifikasi dan eksperimen adalah 97.30%. Kata kunci: minimal model termodifikasi, metode numerik, glukosa, insulin. Abstract: The aim of this research were modified minimal model equation and used them for analyzed the result of intravenous glucose tolerance test using numerical method. Modified minimal model obtained three ordinary differential equations based on this research. The first and second differential equations showed that insulin influenced the rate of glucose absorption rapidly, whereas the third differential equation showed that the increasing of insulin secretion was influenced by glucose. The result of this research showed that modified minimal model and numerical method can be used as glucose insulin system analysis for healthy human and type 2 diabetes patients. The average of determination coefficient (R2) between the result of modified minimal model and experiment was 97.30% Keywords: modified minimal model, numerical method, glucose, insulin.
