<![CDATA[ABSTRACTOsteoartritis is a type of arthritis that most often encountered with relatively high prevalence and is a major cause of disability associated with the disease in individuals. This study was to describe of incident osteoartritis genue in poli orthophedic Dumai City Hospital. Design of the study was descriptive study, with random sampling tecknique. Sample of this study was 72 respondens in taken respondent with inclusion criteria. The univariate analysis was conducted to know frequency distribution. The result showed most of responden 37,5% (27 respodent) was in obesity 1 categori, and frequency of pain was in mild pain 45,8% (33 respondent). Level of osteoartritis most of respondent was in form small spur category 40,3% (29 respondent). This result of this research was recommended to the health workers, specially to the nurse to increase role into give the care osteoartritis genu patient.
