Penelitian menggunakan metode kualit atif. Dasar filosofis yang mendasaripenelitian ini adalah fenomenologis yang kadang disebut juga deskriptifphenomenology, yaitu pembuktian yang bersifat deskriptif. Pengumpulan datapada penelitian kualitatif berupa catatan, rekaman, foto, dan laporan. Penyajiandata biasanya berupa tulisan, bukan angka nominal, dan menyoroti kehidupanindividu secara holistik tanpa memisahkan individu atau kelompok ke dalamvariabel atau hipotesis. Penelitian ini dilakukan di desa Nusa, Kecamatan Lhoknga, Aceh Besar,yang berjarak lebih kurang 9,5 km dari pusat kota Banda Aceh. Daerah tersebutdipilih sebagai lokasi penelitian karena beberapa pertimbangan, beberapadiantaranya adalah terdapat pabrik roti Nusa Indah Bakery yang sejak dulumemang digunakan sebagai tempat pembuatan kue basah dan kue kering.Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini diajukan saran kepada bagi pihak-pihakyang terkait misalnya bagi keluarga pekerja (anak dan suami) perempuan pabrikroti Nusa Indah Bakery, dapat menciptakan pembagian kerja tiap anggotakeluarga secara seimbang, sehingga beban kerja ibu menjadi ringan selanjutnyajuga bagi pabrik roti Nusa Indah Bakery agar selalu meningkatkan kesejahteraanpekerjanya.SOCIAL ECONOMIC LIFE OF WOMEN EMPLOYEES (STUDY CASE ON THE NUSA BEAUTIFUL BREAD FACTORY LHOKNGA DISTRICT BIG ACEH DISTRICTThe research used qualitative method. The underlying philosophical foundation ofthis research is the phenomenologically sometimes descriptive phenomenology,which is descriptive. Data collection on qualitative research in the form of notes,recordings, photos, and reports. The presentation of data is usually written, notnominal, and highlights the lives of individuals holistically without separatingindividuals or groups into variables or hypotheses. The research was conducted inthe village of Nusa, Lhoknga Subdistrict, Aceh Besar, which is approximately 9.5km from downtown Banda Aceh. The area was chosen as a research site becauseof some considerations, some of which are the factories of Nusa Indah Bakerywhich have always been used as a place for making wet cakes and pastries. Basedon the results of this research, suggestions to the related parties such as thefamilies of the workers (children and husbands) of the bread factory of NusaIndah Bakery, can create the division of labor of each family member in abalanced way, so that the mother's work load becomes light as well for the bakeryNusa Indah Bakery to always improve the welfare of its workers.
