This research examines various phenomena related to the integration of government information from a comparative institutional perspective. Its findings demonstrate how the implementation of information integration varies from one government functions to other government functions. This study contributes in providing advice required in the process of government information integration. It suggests the necessity of drafting a general guidance that capable of maintaining the current information integration mechanism and then providing detailed instructions on how a government unit able to select a certain type of integration mechanism that suits its particular duties and functions.
