The research was pointed to progress the students’ speaking abilities of the tenthof  SMA Negeri 1 Pejagoan by actualizing the role-play technique. It was carried out based on the strategy that had been arrangedsome time recently. The observation was action research. It was conducted in three cycles with one assembly in the to begin with cycle and 2 gatherings in the moment and third cycle. The subjects of this inquire about were 32 students of lesson tenth grade at SMA Negeri 1 Pejagoan.
