PERBANDINGAN KADAR ETANOL HASIL FERMENTASI UMBI TALAS BENTUL, LOMPONG (Colocasia esculenta (L.)Schott), KIMPUL (Xanthosoma violaceum Schott)

Abstract

ABSTRAK Perbandingan Kadar Etanol Hasil Fermentasi Umbi Talas bentul, Lompong (Colocasiae esculenta (L.)Schott), Kimpul (Xanthosoma violaceum Schott) telah dilakukan. Penetapan kadar etanol menggunakan metode Spektrofotometri UV-Vis secara mikrodifusi dengan cawan Conway. Berdasarkan hukum Lambert Beer diperoleh panjang gelombang maksimal 446 nm dan persamaan regresi linear y = -0,3765x + 0,7861. Hasil validasi metode menghasilkan akurasi dan presisi yang baik dengan koefisien korelasi ( r ) -0,9987 dan nilai LOD 0,0474 g/dL, LOQ 0,1581 g/dL. Penetapan kadar sampel umbi talas bentul, kimpul, lompong menghasilkan kadar etanol berturut- turut 2,8796 % (b/b), 2,6587 % (b/b), 2,5368 % (b/b). Dari hasil ANAVA diperoleh F hitung (159,023) lebih besar dari F tabel (19,33) sehingga ada perbedaan bermakna kadar etanol hasil fermentasi dari ketiga sampel. ABSTRACT Comparation about Ethanol from Fermentation of Talas Bentul, Lompong, (Colocasiae esculenta (L.)Schott), Kimpul Tubers (Xanthosoma violaceum Schott) has been done. Determination of ethanol using spectophotometry UV-VIS according to microdifusion and using Conway plate. Beer’s law is obeyed maximum length at 446 nm and equality of regretion line obtained by y = -0.3765x + 0.7861. The result of validation method obtained accuration of method and good precision appliance with the correlation coefficient ( r ) -0.9987. Limit of detection 0.0474g/dL, Limit of quantitation 0.1581 g/dL. From result determination Talas bentul, kimpul dan lompong tubers sampels obtained by 2.8796% (b/b), 2.6587% (b/b), 2.5368% (b/b) continued for Talas Bentul, Kimpul and Lompong tubers samples. Rate Talas bentul, kimpul and lompong tubers samples significant differences meaning of according to result of ANAVA test obtained by Fcalculate biggest 159.023 than Ftable 19.33.
