Gambaran Simtom Ansietas dan Depresi pada Pasien Diabetes Melitus tipe- 2 di Instalasi Rawat Jalan RSUP H. Adam Malik Medan

Abstract

AbstrakPendahuluan Diabetes melitus (DM) tipe-2 sering mengalami gangguan ansietas dan depresi denganprevalensi dan insidensi 20 – 60% menderita depresi, dan 14-40% menderita ansietas. DM tipe-2beresiko 2 kali lipat menderita ansietas maupun depresi dan sering tidak terdeteksi sehingga tidakmendapat penanganan dengan baik. Penelitianini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran simtomansietas dan depresi pada pasien DM tipe-2 dengan menggunakan kuesioner Hospital Anxiety andDepression Scale (HADS).Metode Penelitian deskriptif dengan metode cross sectional pada bulan Maret – April 2013 di InstalasiRawat Jalan Divisi Endokrin dan Metabolik RSUP. H. Adam Malik Medan. Pasien DM tipe-2 yangmemenuhi kriteria inklusi dan mengisi kuesioner Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale (HADS) untukpenilaian simtom ansietas dan depresi.Hasil Berdasarkan kelompok usia 55 – 64 tahun simtom ansietas yang terbanyak 62,5% dan simtomdepresi yang terbanyak 46,2%, kelompok jenis kelamin simtom ansietas laki-laki dan perempuan terbagirata 50% dan simtom depresi laki-laki dan perempuan terbagi rata 50%, kelompok pekerjaan sebagaipensiunan simtom ansietas 37,5% dan simtom depresi 30,7%, kelompok pendidikan SLTA simtomansietas 62,5% dan simtom depresi 61,6%, kelompok status kawin simtom ansietas 87,5% dan simtomdepresi 84,6%, kelompok tempat tinggal di kota simtom ansietas 75% dan simtom depresi 65,4%Simpulan Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pada pasien DM tipe-2 yang terkontrol (HbA1C <7%)ternyata dijumpai simtom ansietas 8% dan simtom depresi 26%, berdasarkan karakteristik demografikyang terbanyak untuk kelompok usia sekitar 55 – 64 tahun, kelompok jenis kelamin sama antara lakilakidan perempuan, kelompok bekerja pada pensiunan, kelompok pendidikan SLTA, kelompokmenikah dan kelompok yang bertempat tinggal di kota.Kata kunci Diabetes melitus, simtom ansietas dan depresi HADSAbstractIntroduction Type-2 diabetes mellitus (DM) with anxiety and depressive disorders prevalence andincidence was 20 – 60% depression, and 14 – 40% anxiety. Type-2 DM patient with inclusion criteria and fill out theHADS questionnaire to assess anxiety and depression symptoms.Results The largest anxiety and depression simptoms based on the age group of 55-64 years that were62.5% and 46.2%, in the sex group were split in to 50%, in the work group as a retired were 37.5% and30.7%, in high school group were 62.5% and 61.6%, in the marital status group were 87.5% and 84.6%,in the residing group in the city were 75% and 65.4%.Conclusion This study shows that type-2 DM patients who controlled (HbA1c <7%) turned out to beencountered anxiety and depression symptoms were 8% and 26%, The largest anxiety and depressionsimptoms based on the demographic characteristics was in the age group of 55-64 years, in the sexgroup was same between men and women, in the group worked was retired, in the groups educationwas high school, in the marital status group was married and in the residing group was in the city.Keywords : Diabetes mellitus, anxiety and depression symptoms, HADS
