Keikutsertaan orang tua dalam mendidik anak merupakan awal keberhasilan orang tua dalam keluarganya. Ada sebagian besar orang tua yang tidak berperan didalam proses belajaranak-anaknya dirumah karena disebabkan kurangnya pengetahuan peran orang tua dan kurangnya kepedulian pada anak. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui hubungan peran orang tua dengan hasil belajar pada anak. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Analisa data yang digunakan adalah uji korelasi spearman. Populasi terdiri dari siswa siswi kelas 1-5 di SDN Tunggulwulung 3 Malang sebanyak 76 orang. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan total sampling. Hasil penelitian yang didapatkan sebanyak (42,11%) peran orang tua adalah cukup, sebanyak (46,05%) hasil belajar anak dalam kategori cukup. Hasil analisis p-value 0,008> 0,05 yang berarti ada hubungan antara peran orang tua dengan hasil belajar siswa di SDN Tunggul Wulung 3 Malang dan kekuatan hubungan adalah r = 0,392 yang berarti lemah. Direkomendasikan agar orang tua lebih meningkatkan perannya dan meluangkan waktunya dalam mendampingi dan memotivasi anak. ABSTRACT The participation of parents in educating children is the beginning of the success of parents in their families. There are most parents who do not play a role in the learning process of their children at home because of a lack of knowledge of the role of parents and lack of care for children. The purpose of the study was to determine the relationship between the role of parents and learning outcomes in children. This type of research is a descriptive study with a cross sectional approach. Analysis of the data used is the Spearman correlation test. The population consisted of 1-5 grade students in the Tunggulwulung 3 Elementary School Malang as many as 76 people. Sampling uses total sampling. The results obtained as much as (42.11%) the role of parents is sufficient, a total of (46.05%) children's learning outcomes are in sufficient categories. The results of the analysis p-value 0.008> 0.05, which means that there is a relationship between the role of parents and student learning outcomes in Malang Tunggulwulung 3 Elementary School and the strength of the relationship is r = 0.392 which means weak.
