PELAKSANAAN KONSELING PADA KLIEN PASCA PEMASANGAN INTRA UTERINE DEVICE (IUD) OLEH BIDAN DI BIDAN PRAKTIK MANDIRI (BPM)

Latar belakang: Unsur penting dalam upaya mencapai pelayanan kesehatan reproduksi diantaranya akses terha- dap pelayanan keluarga berencana yang bermutu. Peningkatan akses terhadap pelayanan keluarga berencana yang bermutu dapat dilakukan dengan memberikan konseling dalam pelayanan keluarga berencana. Cakupan pengguna IUD di Kabupaten Grobogan sejauh ini masih sedikit (4,2%), sehingga diperlukan upaya untuk dapat melakukan pemerataan pola penggunaan kontrasepsi salah satunya dengan melakukan konseling. Bidan telah memberikan konseling pada klien pasca pemasangan IUD, namun pelaksanaan konseling tersebut belum dapat sesuai dengan standar yang ada.Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui determinan faktor yang mempengaruhi praktik konseling pasca pemasangan IUD (Intra Uterine Device) oleh Bidan Praktik Mandiri di Kabupaten Grobogan.Metode: Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah survei analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Subyek pe- nelitian yaitu bidan praktik mandiri (BPM) di Kabupaten Grobogan, dengan jumlah sampel 60 BPM. Analisa data dilakukan dengan cara univariat dan bivariat menggunakan uji phi koefisien.Hasil: Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa konseling pada klien pasca pemasangan IUD oleh bidan praktik mandiri dipengaruhi oleh tingkat pengetahuan bidan. Secara statistik menunjukan bahwa terdapat hubungan antara penge- tahuan bidan tentang konseling IUD dengan pelaksanaan konseling, hal tersebut dapat dilihat dari nilai p 0,014 < 0,05.Simpulan: Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pelayanan konseling yang baik oleh bidan sa- ngat dipengaruhi oleh tingkat pengetahuan. Bidan yang memiliki kekayaan informasi tentang IUD akan lebih mudahmenularkan informasi kepada kliennya.ABSTRACTBackground: One of the most important elements in achieving reproductive health services is access to quality of family planning services. Enhancement of access to the quality of family planning services can be performed by providing counseling in family planning services. Coverage of IUD users in Grobogan is still slightly (4.2%), so it is necessary to make and to do a distribution pattern of contraceptive use, and one of them is by counseling. Mid- wives have provided counseling to clients after IUD insertion, but the implementation is not accord to an existing standards.Purpose: The purpose of research is to determine the determinant factors that influence post­insertion IUD (Intra Uterine Device) counseling practice by the Independent Midwife Practice in Grobogan.Method: This type of research is analytic survey with cross sectional approach. The subjects of research are in- dependent midwife practices (BPM) in Grobogan, with 60 of BPM samples. Data analysis was by univariate and bivariate phi coefficient test.Result: The study shows that counseling to clients after IUD insertion by independent midwife practices is influ- enced by the level of knowledge of midwives. Statistically shows that there is relationship between the midwife knowledge about IUD counseling to the implementation of counseling. It can be seen from p value 0,014<0,05.Conclusion: Based on the result of this study concluded that the counseling services by the midwife and was strongly influenced by the level of knowledge. Midwife who has a wealth of information about the IUD would be easier to pass information to their clients.
