Raising regional economy is one of the goals of economic development. Measuring regional gap, the Williamson index shows the coefficient of variation of GRDP per capita. This study used a first-difference GMM (FD-GMM) dynamic panel data analysis to calculate per capita GRDP convergence, as well as the determinants, with and without educational variable. The result of this paper shows the existence the sigma convergence and the convergence of per capita GRDP among regions in Central Java. Per capita GRDP of regions in Central Java is significantly influenced by per capita GRDP in previous year, education, worked population and the amount of as a proxy for regional capital variable.
