<![CDATA[The low student learning outcomes is a major problem facing researchers in mathematics learning process in the classroom on the subject of the rectangular flat wake. This study aims to prove whether the learning of mathematics, along with giving the task to make waking up a flat rectangle with practice questions, the subject of a rectangular flat wake can increase student interest and learning mathematics can improve student learning outcomes.Implementation of the actions performed in MTs Madiun, held on 18 February to 4 March 2013. The research design used is a Class Action Research (PTK) and the criteria used in this study includes qualitative research, because it uses the data source directly. The results showed that the interest of students to learn mathematics by giving the task of making a flat rectangular figure model has given good results with an average score of 37.11 (excellent), while the student learning outcomes showed an increase in the average value 80.83 with mastery learning 88.89% .Harapan researcher, hopefully by this research will be new innovations in the learning of mathematics better .And hopefully with the experience of this study can be useful for colleagues who were involved in education, especially in teaching mathematics.
