This study aims to analyze the Public Perceptions of the Quality of Service of Providing Building Construction Permits (IMB) at the Ambon City Planning Service and Methods. The research method is descriptive research method. The population of this study is that people who apply for a Building Construction Permit (IMB) at the Ambon City Planning Office in the Spatial Planning Section for the last 2 months from June and July amounted to 69 people. The results showed that the public perception of the quality of building services in the form of simplicity, clarity, certainty of time, accuracy, service received correctly, right and legitimate quality of service, responsibility, availability of work facilities and infrastructure, other supporting work equipment including technological facilities and informatics shows the results have not been good. Research recommendations need to increase the quality of services with measurable operational standards. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis Persepsi Masyarakat Tentang Kualitas Pelayanan Pemberian Izin Mendirikan Bangunan (IMB) Pada Dinas Tata Kota Ambon dan Metode. Metode penelitian adalah metode penelitian deskriptif. Populasi penelitian ini adalah masyarakat yang mengajukan permohonan Izin Mendirikan Bangunan (IMB) pada Dinas Tata Kota Ambon di Bagian Penataan Ruang selama 2 bulan terakhir dari bulan Juni dan Juli berjumlah 69 orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa persepsi masyarakat tentang kualitas pelayanan Izin Mendirikan Bangunan berupa kesederhanaan, kejelasan, kepastian waktu, akurasi, pelayanan diterima dengan benar, tepat dan sah kualitas pelayanan, tanggung jawab, ersedianya sarana dan prasarana kerja, peralatan kerja pendukung lainnya memadai termasuk sarana teknologi dan informatika menunjukkan hasil belum baik. Rekomendasi penelitian perlu adanya peningkatan kalitas pelayanan dengan standat operasional yang terukur
