Abstract

Banner ordering at Moeha Advertising was previously conducted through direct visits and WhatsApp, while order, payment, and reporting data were recorded separately and customers had to contact staff to obtain order-status information. This study develops a web-based banner ordering information system using the Prototype approach. Data were collected through observation, literature study, and interviews with the owner or manager. The system was developed using PHP and MySQL and modeled with Unified Modeling Language (UML). The final system supports product selection, cart and checkout, design upload, COD or transfer payment, order-status tracking, complaints, refunds, delivery, and managerial reports for Customer, Admin, Cashier, Courier, and Manager. Black Box Testing covered 35 functional scenarios: 7 Customer, 9 Admin, 6 Cashier, 6 Courier, and 7 Manager scenarios; every result was recorded as compliant. The system organizes ordering and operational data in an integrated web workflow.
