Matheteuo
Mathetheuo means student or student. It is found in the OT . the teacher-student relationship was a common feature of the ancient world; there, the Greek philosophers and the Jewish rabbis gathered several disciples or students. In NT times such customs still existed, and the word generally referred to people who received teachings from others, for example, the teachings of John the Baptist, teachings of the Pharisees, and the teachings of Moses.
