Focus and scope Indonesian Journal of Linguistics are the findings of the research, a review of the literature, and a book review on the advancement of science, which includes the investigation of research questions with immediate or broad application that significantly advance our understanding of human language as a system of communication or a phenomenon involving cognition, social interaction, and history. This journal has scopes such as Semantics, Pragmatics, Discourse Analysis, Phonetics, Phonology, Morphology, Syntax, Psycholinguistics, Sociolinguistics, Forensic Linguistics, Educational Linguistics, Languge and Gender, and other interdisciplinary linguistics.
