Tabéq: Journal of Local Wisdom, Belief, and Peace is a scientific journal published by the Tabéq Institute: Center for Culture and Cross-Religious Studies, in collaboration with the Faculty of Ushuluddin and Religious Studies at Universitas Islam Negeri Mataram. It focuses on the study of religion, culture, and society from an inclusive and interdisciplinary perspective. With the spirit of ‘Bridging cultures, connecting faiths, cultivating peace’, Tabéq journal becomes an academic publication space for research and critical thinking about diversity, local traditions, interfaith dialogue, and social transformation based on religious and cultural values. Tabéq journal is open to academics, researchers, students, and practitioners from various disciplines, including the sociology of religion, cultural anthropology, Islamic studies, peace studies, and other social sciences and humanities. The journal is published twice a year, every April and October, and accepts manuscripts in English.
