The Journal of Sports Medicine and Physiotherapy is a peer-reviewed scientific journal published by the Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Negeri Surabaya (UNESA), Indonesia, that publishes high-quality research articles and scholarly works in the fields of sports medicine, physical therapy, sports therapy, rehabilitation, occupational therapy, and pain medicine. The journal aims to provide a global platform for innovative research, evidence-based practice, and advances in sports medicine and physiotherapy. Through interdisciplinary collaboration, the journal seeks to enhance understanding, application, and innovation in rehabilitation, movement, and function to improve the health and well-being of individuals across diverse populations. The Journal of Sports Medicine and Physiotherapy provides a platform for researchers, academics, clinicians, and practitioners to publish scientific contributions, including original research articles, case studies, clinical trials, bibliometric studies, systematic reviews, meta-analyses, and other relevant scholarly works. The scope of the journal includes physical therapy, sports therapy and rehabilitation, sports medicine, occupational therapy, and pain medicine. Through the publication of high-quality scholarly work, the journal is committed to advancing scientific knowledge, strengthening evidence-based clinical practice, and supporting healthcare services, injury prevention, functional recovery, and the optimization of physical performance across diverse populations. Manuscripts that pass the initial editorial screening undergo a double-blind peer-review process by at least two independent reviewers.
