The Indonesian Journal of Islamic Legal Modernism (e-ISSN: 3164-3604) is a peer-reviewed academic journal published by JUSTISIA GLOBAL EDUKASI on online format two times per year (May & November). The journal is dedicated to the study of contemporary Islamic law, legal reform, and modernization within the Indonesian context. The journal aims to promote critical and contextual scholarship on the interaction between Islamic legal traditions, Indonesian national law, democracy, social change, and global modernity. The journal welcomes doctrinal, sociolegal, historical, comparative, and interdisciplinary studies addressing the development of Islamic legal thought and institutions in Indonesia as the world’s largest Muslim-majority democracy.
