Abstract

ABSTRAKTION In dieser Untersuchungwerden die Komparation der Elemente den Kurzgeschichten “Ein alter Mann Stirbt” und “EinBündel Weisser Narzisen” von Luise Rinser. Um Ziel dieser Untersuchung zuerreichen, d.h. die zweiwerkenzuanalysieren, werden die deskriptive und comparative Methode verwendet. Als die theoretiche Grundlagewird die Meinungen von Semi benutzt. Jede Kurzgeschichte besteht aus fünf Elemente, namlich das Milleu, die Figurenkonstellation, die Handlungsphasen, der Sprachstill und das Thema. Um das Ziel der Untersuchung zu erreichen, benutzt der Schreiber die descriptive und comparative Methode. Nach der Schreiber diesen Kurzgesichten analysiert hat, kommte rzum Folgenden Schluß: Das Milleuin der beiden Kurzgeschichten hat Ähnlichkeiten in der Ortzu Hause;Die Figurenkonstellationzeigtin dieser beiden Kurzgeschichten den klaren Charakter. Der Unterschiedsteht nur in der Zahl der Figuren in der ersten Kurzgeschichte gibt es vier Figuren, in der Kurzgeschichte gibt es nur zwei Figuren;Die Handlungsphasen zeigt in dieser beiden Kurzgeschichten warden mit Hauptffigur begonnen. In der ersten Kurzgeschichtesteht fertigen Abscluβ, in der zweiten Kurzgeschichten steht keinen;Der Sprachstill in beiden Kurzgeschichten mit dem gleichenist Wiederholung (Repitition)und in der zweiten Kurzgeschichten unter scheiden die Verwendungen idiomatiche;5. Das Thema der ersten Kurzgeschichte ist die unheimliche Formen der Liebe und dasThemader Tod einer Frau. Schluβworter: der Kurzgeschichte, die deskriptive und comparative Methode

Abstract

Abstraktion Diese Untersuchung bespricht über die humanistischeAspekte der Poesie in dem Buch Jakarta-Berlin, das eine Zweisprachige Anthologie Poesie aus der Ramadhan K.K und Berthold Damshäuser abgefasst. Die Hauptgedichte in diese Untersuchung sind umfassende die vier poesie die von vier dichter geschrieben hat. Nämlich Kurfürstendamm, Blauer Abend in Berlin, Besuch vom Lande, und Gesang vom Elend und Ruhm der Großen stadt Berlin. Das Methode in dieser Untersuchung ist ein deskriptive Methode mit Oberflächenstruktur die vier Gedichten entfellt über mensliches Leben und soziale Phänomen in den Deutsche Leben, aus der Deutschland nach Renaissance bis nach dem Weltkrieg zweiten der schon genug Verwandung in der Soziostruktural für die Menschen in Deutschland, und die Verbindung mit humanistiche Aspekten sind Lebens berechtigung, selbst Berechtigung, ansicht Berechtigung, und National Berechtigung.   Stichwörter :Poesie, humanistische Aspekte, Berlin

Abstract

Abstract The research entitled Ellipsis in Oz the Great and Powerful Movie by Sam Raimi. The objectives of this research are to identify, classify, and analyze descriptively the types of ellipsis in Oz the Great and Powerful movie. The writer conducted this research by using descriptive method. There are three steps to finish this research. First step is preparation, the writer watched the movie to find out the data. Second step is data collection, the writer collected all the sentences which contain ellipsis found in the movie and compared it with the movie script. Third step is data analysis, the writer identified and classified the sentences which contain ellipsis, then analyzed the data used theory of Aarts and Aarts (1982:89) The results of this research show that all of the types of ellipsis according to Aarts and Aarts (1982:89) were found in this movie. There are 56 sentences which contain ellipsis according to Aarts and Aarts (1982:89) found in this movie and they were classified into five types, those are: (1) Ellipsis involving the subject only total 4 sentences, (2) Ellipsis involving the subject and (part(s) of) the predicator total 34 sentences, (3) Ellipsis involving (part(s) of) the predicator total 3 sentences, (4) Ellipsis involving (part(s) of) the predicator and complement or adverbial total 7 sentences, (5) Ellipsis involving (part(s) of) the complement or adverbial total 8 sentences.   Keywords :Ellipsis, Movie: Oz the Great and Powerful, Aarts and Aarts.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This skripsi which is entitled “DiskriminasiRasdalamNovelaHeart of DarknessKarya Joseph Conrad” is a study about the social life of the African people to face the racial discrimination through the story and characters in the novella. There are two questions to be answered in this research namely: How the Racial Discrimination reflected in the novella Heart of Darkness and what is the effect of racial discrimination to all the society in Africa. The aims of this research are to analyze the reflection of racial discrimination by the white people in the novel and to analyze the social effect of racial discrimination to the black people in Africa. The writer uses theory from Aristotle, Wellek and Warren, and De Bonald to describe how the racial discrimination in Africa and what the effect to the people who face discrimination. The intrinsic and extrinsic approaches are applied and the descriptive method is used in this research. The result shows that discrimination give big effect to the black people in Africa who face the savagery and the violence.   Keywords:  Racial Discrimination, Effect, Black People, Heart of Darkness

Abstract

ABSTRACT This research entitled “Kata-Kata Pinjaman Bahasa Inggris dalam Bahasa Indonesia pada Koran Harian Manado Post”. The objectives of this research are to find out the kinds and the changes of the meanings of English loan words in Indonesian language. In analyzing the data, the writer uses Haugen’s theory to find out the types and Baugh’s theory to get the changes of the meanings. To support the analysis, the writer uses Oxford Dictionary and Kamus Besar Bahasa Indonesia. The results of this research show that based on the theory of Haugen there are three kinds of loan word. Those are loan word without phonemic substitution, loan word with partial phonemic substitution, loan word with complete phonemic substitution and there are two kinds of the changes of meaning such as extention and narrowing, but regeneration and degeneration process are not found in those loan words. Abstract

ABSTRACT This research entitled “The Prepositions in the Book of Genesis in the Bible” it is written to identify and classify the form and analyze the meaning of the prepositions that is used in the book of Genesis in the Bible. In analyzing the data, the writer used theory based on Aarts and Aarts (1982) to classifying the forms of prepositionsand Curme’s theory (1986) in analyzing the meaning of prepositions as a part of descriptive method. The data were taken from the book of Genesis in the Bible based on the Holy Bible New International Version, International Bible Society. The form of the prepositions that founded in the Book of Genesis in the Bible, such as simple preposition (one-word preposition) consist of: at, before, from, in, between, by, during, of, on, since, until, and with, whereas complex preposition (multi-word preposition) consist of: according to, as to, because of, in addition to, in front of, and out of. Then, the meaning of the prepositions that founded, consist of: refer to place, time, cause or reason, purpose, source, cause or reason, manner, instrument, participation, characteristic, possessive, amount, measure and conquest. Abstract

ABSTRAK 日本語文法には類義語がたくさんあります。そこで本稿は日本語の「働く、勤める、および仕事する」と言う動詞の意味、使い分けに関に関して明らかにすることを目的とする。この三つの動詞は母語のインドネシア語に訳するとBekerjaとなる。 本研究のデータを集める方法は日本語の教書に載せている例文、インタネット意ある例文を集めて、次にデディステディの類意の理論に基づいて分析する。それから、レポートを書く際に記述的の理論に基づいて書くことにする。分析の際、以下の結果を見つけた。まず、「働く、勤める、および仕事する」は三つとも同じ意味を持っている。「働く」と言う動詞は日本語のグル－プ１で、五段動詞である。「勤める」という動詞はグループに２の動詞で、一段動詞のひとつである。「仕事する」と言う動詞はグループ3の動詞で、日本語の複語動詞の一つである。「働く」動詞は一般的なことを表して、それらをする時、頭や体全の体を使う活動ということを表す。「勤める」は会社や公民会館で活動して、そこで非常勤で、そして、非常の給料をもらっていることを表す。「仕事する」は社会や家庭で頭や体を使う活動することを表す。これらの動詞は類義語としても文の中で好きなだけ入れ替えることができない。しかも、使用する助詞は文によって使い分けが異なるからである。最後はこの研究の成果が日本語教育現場に多少なりとも役立てばと思っている。

Abstract

ABSTRACT The title of this study is “Profanity in the Movie 21 Jump Street”. The purposes of this study are to identify and classify the kinds of profanity and to find out the kinds of expressions produced by the used of profanity using the theory of Jay (1992) and Staley (1978). This research uses a descriptive method. There are three steps to finish this research, the first step is preparation. In this step, the writer watches the whole movie to find out the data. The second step is data collection. The writer collects the words and compares them with the original script. The third step is data analysis. The writer identifies and classifies the category to find out the types of profanity based on  Jay’s (1992) theory and analyzed the expressions based on Staley’s (1978) theory. The result of this research shows that there are 31 types of profanity from the total number of 42 and 19 kinds of expressions produced according to the context and situation of the dialogues. It also shows that profanity is not only used to express fear or embarrassment, but also to express intimacy and to address compliment and many kinds of expressions.
