Abstract

ABSTRAKTION Diese Untersuchung hat den   Titel  “ Präfix in der deutschen  und Tonsawang Sprache (Eine kontrastive Analyse). Sie hat das Ziel, um das Präfix der deutschen und Tonsawang Sprache zu kontrastieren.  In dieser Untersuchung wird die Theorien  von Griesbach, Kalangi, Pelz, und Lado. Um die Daten zu analysieren, wird die deskriptive und kontrastive Methode benutzt. Nach der Analyse  und Kontrast sind  die Schluβfolgerung nämlich zu ziehen. Es gibt die Gleichkeit und den Unterschied. Die Gleichkeiten sind: Deutsche und Tonsawang Sprache haben Präfix, das auf das Verba, Nomen, und Adjektiv verbindet. Es  kann die Bedeutung verändert,oder nicht. Präfix der deutschen und Tonsawang Sprache haben negative Bedeutung. Die Unterchiede sind, in der deutschen Sprache gibt es das Präfix, das nicht produziert. In der Tonsawang produzieren  alle Präfixen. In der Tonsawang Sprache gibt es  das Präxif, das die Bedeutung  hat, eine  Aktivitäten , die mehr mal gemacht wird.   Stichwörter: Präfix,  Kontrastiv,  Gleichkeit, Unterschied, Bedeutung.

Abstract

ABSTRAKTION  Diese Untersuchung bespricht über die “Charakter der Figuren im Novel Demian: die Geschichte von Emil Sinclairs Jugend” von Hermann Hesse. Die Datenquelle wird aus dem Novel Demian: die Geschichte von Emil Sinclairs Jugend. Diese Untersuchung hat die folgende Ziele:um die Arten der Charakter von Emil Sinclairs, Kromer, Demian, Pistorious, Beatrice, und Frau Eva zu beschreiben und zu analysieren und um die Arten der Charakterisierungen Form zu identifizieren und zu klassifizieren. In dieser Untersuchung wird die Structural Theorie von Nurgiyantoro (2007) und Charakterisierungs Theorie von Minderop (2005) verwendet. Aus dieser Untersuchung hat der Schreiber zwei Schluβfolgerungen: 1.Der Charakter von Emil Sinclairs, Franz Kromer, Max Demian, Pistorious, Beatrice, Knauer und  Frau Eva haben Unterschiedliche character; 2.Direkte Methode: besonders die Charakteriesierungen von den Figuren; indirekte Methoden: Ort und Situation der Konversation, Ton der Stimmlage, Dialekt, und Wortschatz.  Stichwörter: Charakter, Direkte Methode, Indirekte Methode, Novel Demian: die Geschichte von Emil Sinclairs Jugend  von Hermann Hesse

Abstract

ABSTRAKTION Diese Untersuchung behandelt sich über “das Derivationalaffix in den Adjektiven, Nomen und Verben im Roman der Meister”. Die Ziele dieser Untersuchung sind das Derivationalaffix bei Adjektiven, Nomen und Verben zu identifizieren, zu klazifisieren, der Wortbildungsprozess darzustellen und die Bedeutung von dem Derivationalaffix zu bestimmen. Die Daten werden von den Roman der Meister genommen. Auf dieser Untersuchung benutzt die Schreiberin die deskriptive Methode. Um die Daten zu analysieren, basiert die Schreiberin den Theorien der Analyse auf der Meinung von Pelz, Mentrup, Groß und Bünting. Das Ergebnis der Untersuchung wird gesagt, daß der Wortbildungsprozess mit dem Derivationalaffix durch Expansion, funktionale Derivation, semantische Derivation und geprägte Wörter geschehen werden kann. Die Wortbildung durch Derivation kann aus dem andere Stammwort nämlich Adjektiven von Nomen, Nomen von Adjektiven und Verben, Verben von Nomen und Adjektiven gebildet werden.   Stichwörter : das Derivationalaffix, Adjektiven, Nomen, Verben.

Abstract

ABSTRACT                        This research is entitled “Kata Ganti Orang dalam Bahasa Inggris dan Bahasa Tonsea Suatu Analisis Kontrastif”. This research attempts to classify and analyze the Personal Pronoun in English and Tonsea Language and it is a research which focuses on syntactic analysis by looking at the case and function of personal pronoun. In classifying and analyzing the data, the researcher uses the theory of Aarts and Aarts (1982) and to contrast the data, she uses the theory of Lado (1975).            The results of this research show that English language have eight kinds of personal pronouns, namely: first person singular and plural, second person singular and plural, third person singular and plural. Third person singular is divided into three kinds those are: masculine, feminine, and netral. Tonsea language has six kinds of personal pronouns namely: first person singular and plural, second person singular and plural, third person singular and plural. The differences of both languages can be seen in third person singular. In English, third person singular is divided into three kinds by looking at the gender whereas in Tonsea is not. The position of the case in Tonsea language can be attached or separated after the noun and it can be a verb. Keywords: Syntax, Personal Pronoun, Case, Function, Contrastive Analysis: English,            Tonsea  Language.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This research entitled “Prinsip-Prinsip Kesopanan dalam Film Animasi “MOANA” Karya John Grierson: Suatu Analisis Pragmatik” focuses on maxim related to the principle of politeness. The problems of this research are: What kinds of Politeness Principles used by the character in “Moana” & What are the functions of Politeness Principles used by the main character in “Moana” movie.  The purpose of this research is to identify, classify, analyze the function and types of politeness in maxim used that can be shown in the conversation in the animation movie. In collecting data, the writer concentrates the utterance‟s which contains the principles of politeness produced by the main character in the movie. The collected data are analyzed based on Leech‟s theory.  The results shows that there are six types of maxim from the utterances of the main character in the animation movie “MOANA” they are: tact maxim, generosity maxim, approbation maxim, modesty maxim, agreement maxim and sympathy maxim. It is expected that this research will help the students and other readers in learning the pragmatic aspects, especially about maxim in politeness principles.  Keyword: Politeness Principles, Pragmatic, Movie: Moana

Abstract

ABSTRACT This research entitled Adverbs in the book of Matthew aims to identify and classify types of adverb in three topics  and to analyze position of adverbs in sentences. The method which is used in this research is descriptive method. The date are; the parable of Sower, the faith of Cannanite Woman, and the Divorce. In analyzing the data, the writer used theory of Aarts and Aarts (1982) about adverbs.  The results of this research show that the position of adverb in the book of Matthew are; adverb before subject, adverb after subject, adverb before verb, adverb before subject attribute, and adverb after object..  Keywords: Advebrs, English, Analysis, Book of Matthew

Abstract

ABSTRACTThis skripsi is entitled Penindasan terhadap Wanita yang digambarkan dalam novel The Girl on the Train oleh Paula Hawkins. The objectives of this research are to identify, analyze and describe the oppression as well as to analyze the effects of the oppression portrayed through characters in The Girl on the Train by Paula Hawkins.The writer based to his research on the theory of Iris Young in Oppression, Privilege, and Resistance. According to Young, there are five faces of oppression that consists of; exploitation, marginalization, powerlessness, cultural imperialism, and violence.In conducting this study, the writer uses intrinsic and extrinsic approaches, and also this skripsi is data qualitative analysis in which the process consists of describing, analyzing, and interpreting process. Intrinsic element is used to analyze and identify the characters, and the extrinsic element is used to analyze and describe the types of oppression that oppressed the characters as well as the women, the victim through the novel, and the writer also will classify the effects of the oppression. These approaches are applied in order to get the appropriate analysis and to answer the problems. The data are taken from the novel The Girl on the Train by Paula Hawkins whereas the result of this research are the description of event which to know the characters, the women that get oppressed by the subjugation by classifying the five faces of oppression that consists of; exploitation, marginalization, powerlessness, cultural imperialism, and violence as well as the effects among the characters physically and psychologically.Keywords: oppression, oppression on women.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Idiom is an expression that contain of word, phrase or clause which have a frequent figurative language that is often used in speech.  the meaning of idiom is very different from literal meaning, it does not describe one of the word which is form it. Idiom has an important role in constructing formative sentences. This study focuses on idiomatic expressions used in Inferno movie. The foreigner students found many difficulties to understand the meaning of idiom by the native speaker English. The writer realizes that idiom is the one of the most important part in language  especially in English language. This reality encourages the writer to research the form and meaning of the idiom in Inferno movie. The aim of this research is to identify, classify, and analyze the idiom based on their forms and meanings. The descriptive method is used in this research, the data has been taken from the movie and analyzed them based on the theory Boatner and Gates. The results of this research shows that idioms can be found in various of idiom?s form. It is proved by the number of idioms form which was identified in the movie : There are 76 idioms that classified in 3 forms, 56 lexemic idioms, which are divided in 4 classes, 42 verbal idioms, 7 noun idioms, 1 adjective idiom, 6 adverb idioms, 19 phrases idioms, 2 proverbs.   Keyword : Idiom, form and meaning, Inferno
