Demand for transport is an indirect request (derived demand) means journey is not done solely for the trip it self but because of the needs that must be met in the course. Demand for transport is influenced by many factors directly related to transportation or not. These factors are always changing along with the dynamics of society and the passage of time. With the changes in factors, transport demand would be changing.Changes in demand will be increased or decreased depending on the nature of these factors in influencing demand. By using exponential regression will know the level of change in the number of passengers Mataram-Jakarta route. The result showed that the elasticity of transport demand for Mataram-Jakarta route is -0.04. The fast time travel is a dominant factor affecting of the air transport mode choice, followed by comfort, tariffs and no one chose the factor of safety. In case of price increase some of air would be switch to alternative mode such buses.

Aviation technologi develops increasingly sophisticated marked by producing of super jumbo aircraft Airbus A-380. This aircraft has four engines made by Rolls-Trent Royce-90 is capable to provide 36.280 Kg of thrust or four turbo-fan engine Alliance HP 7200 with 37 003 Kg of frust with passenger capacity up to 850 passengers. In the world, aviation business world today around 15 airlines have ordered the aircraft (total 154 order), such as Emirates, Lufthansa, Qantas, Singapore Airlines, dan Malaysia Airlines.In order to anticipate the development of aviation technologi, Idonesian government have to prepare airport in Indonesia that could be landed by super jumbo aircraft Airbus A-380. For the case, it needs to conduct the study on the readiness of Sultan Hasanuddin Airport in Makasar for the operation Of the super jumbo aircraft Airbus A-380. The evaluation of readiness for area, air side and land side facilities including the support facilities that might be developed to accommodate the aircraft Airbus A-380.

Research of improvement airport security performance takes survey at El Tari Airport — Kupang has been implemented. The purpose of the study was to assess the level of security services and know the perception of air transport passengers in the El Tari Airport – Kupang on the security services provided by the airport operator (PT Angkasa pura I). The results of the research found that by using gap analysis can be known 5 (five) in order to prioritize security improvements at the El Tari Airport – Kupang, namely ease of luggage document processing procedures at the airport, the adequacy of the amount of equipment used for baggage inspection at airports, the attitude of the security officer in providing service, convenience checks of passengers and goods at airports and behaviors, skills, and skills of security. Quadrant analysis (importance and performance) shows the attributes that need attention and necessary efforts to repair the attitude of the security officer in poviding services and behavior, skill and ability of the baggage document at the airport.

In the world of flight at this time that a top priority is safety security at the airport. This is of course by looking at the growth of passenger air transport, especially Ngurah Rai Airport in Bali has increased significantly, the airport is one of the international gateway entrances are strongly associated with the level of security safety of flight services.For that security needs to be improved and are strongly associated with its implementation in terms of its is a skill and availability of human resources / security, such as eg often the case in some airports is the escape of drugs, carrying obects that are protected/sharp weapon and others.By looking at the perception of air transport passengers Ngurah Rai Airport in Bali against the security guards, which look at the attitude, behaviors, skills, where the results of an opinion stating casual assessment of the performance of the security guards. This it is to improve the performance of the security guard, so that the establishment of frust against the security of passengers at airports.
