Abstract

This research was conducted in North Coastal of Buleleng Regency Bali Province, for two years. The second year aims to assess: (1) how the refinement of the conceptual model of community-based management of coastal damage, and (2) evaluation of the conceptual model of community-based management of coastal damage. Based on population distribution in a district that has a beach, then selected three representative Buleleng Regency, there is in West Buleleng is taken samples in Seririt District, in Central Buleleng represented by Buleleng District and in Eastern Buleleng is Kubutambahan District. Three areas were selected purposively with the consideration that the beaches in the area most damaged either due by coastal erosion and human intervention in the utilization of resources in the northern coastal areas of Bali. The data collected in this study included primary data and secondary data, collected using a data collection instrument. Data analysis was conducted using qualitative descriptive analysis.

Abstract

At work a reflection on the environmental management of the Ecuadorian university and prospects of its development from the model of quality of higher education which promotes the Ecuador and the applicable law is addressed. Abstract

Paper currency i.e. currency note is basically a promissory note that simply recommends that the payee has promised to pay that amount to the payer. The same is written on every currency paper as well. This is authenticated in India by the RBI Governor. This currency notes people can you for the exchange of goods and services. It is considered as a legal tender for performing transactions. Demonetization means the scrapping of old currency notes and cancelling their legal status of tender. Shri Narendra Modi, The Indian Prime Minister, in his speech to the nation on 8th November, 2016 declared the demonetization of the Indian currency notes Rs. 1000 and Rs. 500 with effect midnight of 8th November, 2016. This move sent the whole country in a wobbly. The Honble Prime Minister specified this decision is a decisive attack against the black money being stored by the citizens of the country as well as a step to counter terrorism which was being funded by counterfeit money. This decision cancelled the legal status of the high value currency notes of INR 500 and 1000 with immediate effect and introduced new Rs. 2000 and Rs. 500 notes. This is really an unexpected surprise for all Indians. This sudden decision affected the several sectors including the Indian economy. Positive and negative impacts of the demonetization decision on Indian citizens are covered in this paper with the help of primary and secondary data. This paper is a sincere attempt to study the present scenario, short term and long term effects of demonetization in India.

Abstract

Today, commercial banks are confronted with challenges that range from debt crises to the tight competition in the market. Customers’ impatience has increased considerably as they are more knowledgeable than before. Thus, the introduction of mobile services in the banking industry has added to the challenges facing commercial banks as they have to embrace the new technology or lose business. Mobile banking in Nigeria has completely transformed the banking industry and any commercial bank operating in Nigeria can only ignore that fact at its own risk. This study, therefore, aims to investigate the mobile banking effects on Commercial Banks financial performance in Nigeria. Simple random techniques were employed in this study in selecting 22 commercial banks.

Abstract

Balinese society local wisdom had a high potential for the legal development, both in the legal substantive development and the legal structure, as well as legal culture. It was a social reality was understood and implemented in their life, in fact, a very functional in the society. Therefore, it needs to be revitalized and transformed into national legal development. The revitalization of the local wisdom potential of Balinese society in legal development. It was conducted by way of leveraging the performance of Desa Adat organization unlike Bendesa policy, Kelihan, Pecalang with doing a cooperation and coordination towards government agencies, especially the state of legal enforcement in carrying out the task in a manner with the wise and prudent, a good attitudes and no arrogance as well as a violence. Therefore, the attitude of legal enforcement officials would be role models for the societies. Thus, the Bali image as the island was safe, orderly, and peaceful, with the population-paced of harmony could be preserved. The transformation of Balinese local wisdom was done by accommodating in the local regulation, even the regulation of provincial level regional as well as the regency and city level.

Abstract

This study critically examined the Impact of Talent Management Strategies on Organizational Performance in Selected Deposit Money Banks (DMB) in Lagos State, Nigeria. Specifically, the study sought to; (i) determine the extent succession planning relates to sustainability; (ii) ascertain to what extent human capital development impacts on innovative capabilities of employees; and, (iii) examine the degree compensation impacts on employee engagement, in selected DMBs under study. The study adopted the survey design. The population of the study was 3126 comprising management and junior staff drawn from the selected DMBs in Lagos state, Nigeria.
