Abstract

Bappenda currently utilizes Information Systems as the main driver in its activities which include the process of registration, data collection, determination, acceptance, billing, and reporting, in supporting its activities Bappenda needs to have an Information System strategic planning that can identify computer-based application portfolios in carrying out business processes, by therefore we need a tool that can be used to provide a basic organizational structure for the company as a whole using Enterprise Architecture. The method used in architectural planning is The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF), which can provide techniques on how to build, manage and implement enterprise architecture and information systems called the Architecture Development Method (ADM). Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the application of the TOGAF method in Bappenda can improve the performance of the system applied by a percentage of 57.29%. The suggestion for implementing TOGAF in Bappenda is to be able to develop gradually according to the existing stages in TOGAF and explain how to find an organization's enterprise architecture specifically based on business needs and processes

Abstract

In learning projectile motion and its velocity, students tend to look up a plain two-dimensional image in a science book. While there’s some educational props, yet they usually a very tradional ones and can not be used for real calculation. The utilization of Augmented Reality (AR) in educational method may raise curiosity and gives a unique way in learning projectile motion as the motion can be seen in a three dimensional. Augmented Reality itself is a combination of real world and virtual objects. This application uses the Vuforia SDK that able to blend the real world and virtual objects. Through this application, we were able to simulate projectile motion and its velocity in more realistic way, have slightly interaction with the reality, and gets input from user so they can learn and see the result of the parameter that they entered. Thus, with the advantage of AR the application gives a more realistic feel compared to the existing ones available in public as it could receive any input and show the output in AR.

Abstract

Café Lo Aja is a company that sells food and drinks. The business process carried out by this company is buying goods from suppliers and selling products to customers. Sales transaction data will produce heaps of data that get bigger and bigger, so that it can cause new problems. The purpose of this research is to make an application to process a sales transaction data so that it can produce information about consumer purchasing patterns which will be used to help the Cafe Lo Aja to make business decisions. This study uses Cafe Lo Aja sales transaction data in 2019 with the Data Mining Market Basket Analysis method and the Max-Miner Algorithm. This research produces data which is an association rule from a collection of sales transaction data. So that by knowing the pattern of purchasing these products, the cafe manager can predict future market needs that can take into account what stock items must be reproduced and what items should be reduced because of the small percentage of interested ones. By knowing the results of the association, the manager can adjust the layout of the product menu to be better because products that are often purchased will be placed close together. Suggested application development that can be done in further research is the system can be developed into a mobile application, so consumers can order products on their smartphone devices.

Abstract

The IT Departement of STMIK Atma Luhur's (BSI) currently serves complaints related to IT on campus by using Whatsapp group. This is less effective and efficient because it makes the process of complaints recording from a department in a certain time becomes difficult. Website-based complaints recording system with responsive design will be built to solve these problems. The display of responsive web can change according to device that accesses it, so that the user experience when accesses it with mobile device will be same as the one who accesses it with desktop. System development model, method, and tools used in this research are prototyping model, object-oriented method, and Unified Modeling Language (UML), respectively. The built system can be used by employees, lecturers, or students to register accounts, fill complaints, and view it responses by BSI. In addition, BSI can manage data related to complaints, validate accounts, respond to complaints, and print complaints reports with built system. Based on the results of questionnaire recapitulation that has been done, it can be concluded that the built system can accelerate and facilitate the process of complaints submission, response, and management at STMIK Atma Luhur. In addition, the system page display is automatically adjusted to user's device, so the system remains easy and pleasant to use even if accessed with smartphone.

Abstract

Companies that are currently developing pretty much do marketing via the website. Website becomes something very important that must be owned by trading companies engaged in the Export and Import sector. Trading websites that are currently running have flaws in terms of speed of access. The process of cloudflare hosting implementation research for access speed on trading websites uses the waterfall method which has stages such as Requirement Analysis, System Design, Implementation, Testing, and Maintenance Operations. The results obtained from this research process in accordance with the waterfall method used is successfully implementing cloudflare hosting to increase the speed of website quality to reach 100%, can even reduce spam, save bandwidth and cut open time for website pages 50% which means higher speeds. Knowing the shortcomings of the website before implementation, through cellular access speed is only 13% while through the desktop 50% and knowing the details of numbers and speed units of the website both before and after implementation. The next research that can be done is to compare the performance of cloudflare with radware, Akamai Prolexic, and Neustar.

Abstract

Named entities are proper nouns or objects contained in a text, such as a person's name, country name, and others. Names of persons in some text are often ambiguous, which makes it difficult for ordinary people to find out these same names are the same person or not.  An ambiguity of names also found in hadith, like the name Abdullah in hadith number 86 and 2411, that might be the same person or might be different. Based on this problem, then this study focuses on named entity disambiguation, which considered further semantic and lexical relation between a named entity. Expected in the future, it would help people to understand the ambiguity of the name or distinguish ambiguous names. The method used in this research was Robust Disambiguation because, in this method, the context of the named entity considered. The resulted output obtained was in the form of named entity that grouped based on the same person or different person processed with Density-based Spatial Clustering of Applications with Noise.  This research resulted in an accuracy value of 90%, a precision value of 97%, and a recall value of 89% obtained from actual value and predicted value

Abstract

The selection of customer class rates in the Banjarmasin City Municipal Waterworks (PDAM) has been made by calculating each indicator value and criteria that have been surveyed by PDAM officers for potential water customers. The calculation is processed in a simple way besides the number of measures assessed so that it requires the time and process of the assessment. To avoid dissatisfaction with potential drinking water customers, a tool in the form of a decision support system is needed. This study aims to develop a decision support system for the customer class rate selection using the Eckenrode and TOPSIS methods. The test was conducted as many as 70 data samples to determine the accuracy and sensitivity of the system developed. The results of the experiment showed that the accuracy value was 95%, and the sensitivity value was 93%. The results of this research conclude that the Eckenrode and TOPSIS methods can be applied both in the development of a decision support system for the customer class rate.

Abstract

A small number of asteroids have already had their own permanent names. However, tracking the names of asteroids that have been used before is an impractical work because there are thousands of names that must be traced one by one. This research intends to minimize the search burden of many asteroid name data using the Kohonen network. By using the Kohonen network, it is sufficient to do training on the sample data provided which is far less than the actual data. The result of this training is then used to obtain the number of asteroid names that are successfully identified by the Kohonen network. The result can also be used to propose a new asteroid name so that thestatus of acceptance of the proposed name can be determined. Based on the results of the training on the sample data, the training result is getting better as the learning rate increases. However, when tested with real data, the overall result that is not satisfactory is obtained because the level of recognition is only 49.78%. From the test result, it is also found that there is no linear relationship between the level of learning rate and the number of names that were successfully identified. Further research that can be done are the inclusion of non-asteroid training data, changing Kohonen network parameters, or using other recognition methods.
