Abstract

Indonesia has a lot of natural wealth of spices. The diversity of spices is an inseparable aspect of Indonesian history. Spices and seasonings are biological resources that have long played an important role in human life. Indonesian spices have almost the same color and shape. The purpose of this study was to analyze the performance of the Naïve Bayes variation method in classifying spices using a Histogram Of Oriented Gradient (HOG) feature extraction. Based on 3 tests, the performance of the four Naïve Bayes variation methods carried out in this study, it can be seen that testing 5 types of spices using the Gaussian Naïve Bayes method obtained the best performance with an accuracy of 0.946, a precision of 0.95, a recall of 0.945, f1 score of 0.947, f beta score of 0.946, and Jaccard score of 0.90. Where as using the Complement Naïve Bayes method gets the lowest performance. From the results of this study it can be concluded that by utilizing HOG feature extraction and the Naïve Bayes variation method, maximum classification results are obtained in classifying spices. To obtain more accurate classification results, consider using other methods and other feature extraction

Abstract

Communication that combines the methodologies of the two communications can be considered as communication fiber optic communication and can be used in communication systems and wireless. The integration of optical and wireless networks can function to increase mobility and capacity as well as reduce costs in access networks. Radio over fiber (RoF) can be a solution for many problems because it can control many base stations (BS) connected to a central station (CS) with an optical fiber. The high bit error rate (BER) and low Q factor value are caused by the Rof signal head received in low quality, so the receiver may not operate on high data speed networks. The solution to different signal problems and can be done with single mode fiber is the Wavelength Division Multiplexing (WDM) network. BER must be reduced to a guaranteed value, and the Q factor must be increased. WDM-RoF probes with different fiber lengths at various channel distances will be: simulated using Optisystem software, and the performance of the RoF receiver is measured and analyzed depending on the obtained BER, Q-factor value, and eye aperture height. The effects of degradation factors such as attenuation and dispersion are very limited with the addition of EDFA amplifier to Single Mode Fiber (SMF). The higher the bit rate of a communication system, the lower the performance of the system. In this study, analysis of the WDM-Rof system with bit rate variations was carried out to determine the bit rate value that still met the standard. From the simulation results, the Q-Factor and BER values at a bit rate of 11 Gbps do not meet the standards, i.e 4.50508 and 2.5390e-006.

Abstract

The Covid-19 virus has spread rapidly in Indonesia in recent years, significantly increasing the number of victims in the community. However, there is a lack of warnings for violators of physical distancing. This study aims to create a system as a solution to overcome the problems of implementing physical distancing protocols. Image capture media in the form of cameras were used to monitor human objects in crowded situations by tracking the movement of objects at regular physical distances. In this study, computer vision, image processing, and pattern recognition were used to construct the distance measurement between humans. Using a webcam by applying the Euclidean Distance and Haar Cascade methods, this system is intended to determine the distance between human-made objects. The results demonstrated that a digital image system employing the Haar Cascade and Eucludien Distance methods could make it easier to control the gathering point in a given area. Researcher has developed a software usage assistance feature for use with this application. Based on the findings of the study, the accuracy of this system was evaluated using 100 trials, with a succes rate of 100% since the system resulted correct notification in all trials. In addition, this digital image system is anticipated to assist developers and the general public in controlling gathering locations that do not adhere to established health protocols, allowing violations of physical separation to recognize their errors when captured on camera immediately.

Abstract

As a novel and efficient ensemble learning algorithm, XGBoost has been widely applied due to its multiple advantages, but its classification effect in cases of data imbalance is often not ideal. Aiming at this problem, efforts were made to optimize XGBoost and the Cross Validation algorithm. The main idea is to combine cross validation and XGBoost on unbalanced data for data processing, and then get the final model based on XGBoost through training. At the same time, optimal parameters are searched and adjusted automatically through optimization algorithms to realize more accurate classification predictions. In the testing phase, the area under the curve (AUC) is used as an evaluation indicator to compare and analyze the classification performance of various sampling methods and algorithm models. The results of the model analysis using AUC are expected to verify the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.

Abstract

Product selection based on the ripeness quality of papaya fruit is one of the stages in the processing of plantation products. At this time, the process of sorting papaya fruit is still using manual methods, especially in estimating the level of ripeness. Papaya is considered a climacteric fruit where respiration occurs and its ethylene production suddenly increases and then rapidly falls off. Fruit with a low respiration rate has a longer shelf life than fruit with a high respiration rate. To overcome this problem, this research created a prototype of a papaya fruit ripeness detection system using a color sensor-based fuzzy logic method. This fruit maturity detector can provide information related to fruit ripeness (unripe, half ripe, and ripe) which is determined from the color of the papaya fruit which is then processed using the Mamdani fuzzy logic method. The results of the prototype design can measure fruit with an accuracy rate of 93.33% of the 30 data tested by using tools that are in a cool place, with low intensity of incoming sunlight. Keywords: Papaya fruit ripeness, TCS3200 Sensor, Mamdani Fuzzy Logic.

Abstract

In TCP/IP networks, TCP provides reliable delivery service with the guarantee that packets sent reach their destination. This is achieved through the use of acknowledgments (ACK) as a mechanism. In TCP/IP networks, TCP provides reliable delivery service with the guarantee that packets sent reach their destination. This is achieved through the use of acknowledgments (ACK) as a mechanism. In all three variants of TCP, they rely on the presence of ACK packets. Therefore, testing will be conducted to observe the effect of ACK loss on TCP performance. The testing involves introducing disruptive traffic on the ACK path with varying magnitudes. This disruptive traffic results in the loss of some ACK packets, depending on the magnitude of the disruptive traffic. The testing was conducted using the ns-2 simulator software. The research findings indicate that the loss of ACK packets leads to a decrease in TCP performance. TCP Reno successfully improves the performance of TCP Tahoe, but the algorithm improvement in TCP New Reno does not have an effect on TCP Reno..
