Abstract

Purpose- This study aims to examine the relationship between endorser type and endorser-brand suitability on attitudes towards endorsers, attitudes towards brands, attitudes towards advertising, and purchase intentions. Design/methodology/approach- Data were collected through an online questionnaire of 180 participants. The data analysis techniques used were MANOVA and SEM (PLS). Findings- There are significant differences in attitudes towards endorsers, brands, and advertisements from differences in endorser-brand suitability. There was no significant effect of using endorsers with celebrity types and Instagram influencers on attitudes towards endorsers, brands, and advertisements. Attitudes towards endorsers and brands have a positive effect on purchase intentions. Implication- Companies should pay attention and conduct in-depth research on endorsers that match the brand image. B2C marketers must identify and engage professionally with celebrities or influencers who are popular with consumers. Keywords: Endorser, endorser-brand compatibility,

Abstract

Purpose- This study aims to determine how the level of development of creative economy businesses from the initial conditions of the business to the current conditions, as well as to find out some of the competitiveness factors that can affect the added value of the creative economy in Kabupaten Kediri. Design/methodology/approach- The sample in this study were creative economy entrepreneurs in Kabupaten Kediri using purposive sampling technique in which there were 84 samples of business actors. The pairwise difference test, while OLS regression analysis was used to analyze the factors that affect the added value of the creative economy . Findings- This research resulted in several findings, there are: (1) the largest creative economy sub-sector in Kabupaten Kediri is culinary, crafts, and performing arts, (2) Several core problems in the development of the creative economy including the lack of integration of the creative economy database, weak institutional functions, low level of product creativity, underdeveloped marketing systems or techniques, and no integration between sub-sectors, (3) there are three sub-sectors. potential to be developed in Kabupaten Kediri, (4) the results show that education and marketing both have a very significant influence in increasing the added value of creative economy entrepreneurs in Kabupaten Kediri. Abstract

Purpose- This research aims to examine the remuneration effect on performance using motivation as the mediating variable. Design/methodology/approach- The population of the research is all educational staff who work in one of public education institutions in Malang which have been applied remuneration system. Sample selection was conducted through a stratified random sampling technique. This study used a structured questionnaire to collect data and Pearson correlation and regression models were used to analyze data. Findings- The results showed that remuneration had a significant effect on motivation and employee performance, and there was a significant effect of motivation in mediating the remuneration effect on employee performance. This study recommends the need for more attention to motivation because of its essential role in improving employee performance Implication- The significant motivation role in improving employee performance is expected to be a concern for leaders to encourage employees in carrying out and completing their work rather than merely focused on remuneration itself. The goal is not only for individual purposes but also for the benefit of the organization. Limitation- This research uses a case study approach so that it only takes the perception of the remuneration implementation which occurs in one place. Future research should be able to expand sampling in order to generalize the results.

Abstract

Purpose- This study aims to determine the role of theory of planned behavior in predicting consumer purchase intentions of second hand products. Methods- The object of this studyis focused on second hand clothes. Total sampel were 180 respondents who were taken through purposive sampling method. Data obtained by distributing questionnaires. Hypothesis testing used multiple regression analysis. Findings- The results of this study indicate that Attitude Toward Behavior, Subjective Norm, Perceived Behavioral Control affect consumer purchase intention. Implications-The research can confirm the accuracy of TPB in predicting purchase intention of iGeneration consumers in the context of second hand clothing. This research is also useful for second hand clothing business actors in understanding the factors that influence consumer purchase intentions of second hand clothing. Abstract

Purpose-This research aims to analyze the effect of servicescapes and experiences on future shopping experiences in industrial era 4.0 as an effort to avoid market failure. Design/methodology/approach- Research method with quantitative approach. The research sample consisted of 100 traders at the Islamic Market Center Saporete Brebes obtained using Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling. Findings-The results showed that there is a positive and significant effect of servicescapes on efforts to avoid market failure through income redistribution; experienscapes has a positive but insignificant effect on efforts to avoid market failure through income redistribution. Implication-The local government is required to make policies related to market implementation which are closely related to economic aspects by focusing on the orientation and shopping style of consumers in the industrial era 4.0. Future shopping styles in the industrial revolution 4.0 era must be able to combine online shop and physical shop styles. both are complementary not substitute. Abstract

Purpose- This research aims to analyze and determine the influence of leadership, competence, workload, and work environment on employee performance of The Higher Education Services Agency Region III Jakarta. Design/methodology/approach- A sample of 71 participants was intentional with purposive sampling. Multiple linear regression is used to test the hypothesis. Findings- The results showed that leadership, competence, and work environment positively and significantly affect the employee's performance, while the workload negatively and significantly impacted the employee's performance. Implication- In efforts to improve employee performance, institutions need to pay attention and know what is the problem as a basis for correcting weaknesses and maintaining strengths through the implementation of leadership, competence, workload, and work environment properly Keywords: Leadership, competence, workload, work environment, and performance.
