Abstract

The purpose of this study is to explore, isolate and identify the entomopathogenic mushroom Beauveria spp that infects the pests in wild peas plantations. The research was carried out by taking samples of pests infected with entomopatogen mushrooms in peas plants. On the plants diagrams nine U-like sample points were determined. Each sample point consisted of 30 pests. Observations began 57 days after planting up to 99 days following planting with sampling every week. The samples were isolated into the Potato Dextrose media to be identified. The results of the research were that the isolated entomogenic fungus Beauvera spp. was found in pests Leptocorisa orus, six insulators Beauver and sppia. Abstract

Fermented cow dung has high fiber and moisture content, and improves soil porosity and fertility. The experiment was carried out in Ujung Village, Lilirilau District, Soppeng Regency, from January to May 2022. The aim of the experiment was to determine the growth and production of mustard greens due to the administration of POC fermented cow dung. This study was arranged using a Randomized Block Design (RBD) with 4 groups. The variables consisted of cow manure liquid organic fertilizer P0 (0 ml/L water), P1 (25 ml/L water), P2(50 ml/L water), P3 (75 ml/L water), P4 liquid (100 ml/ L of water), the application time consists of 2 levels: 10 HST, 20 HST, 30 HST. Parameters observed were plant height, number of leaves, fresh weight per sample. Based on the results of the study, it was shown that the effect of a dose of 100 ml/L of water tended to show the best growth and production of the observed parameter components

Abstract

This study aims to describe the production process of Mallawa mushroom chips, analyze the amount of production and income of Mallawa mushroom chips, and describe the marketing mix of Mallawa mushroom chips, as well as analyze the feasibility of the Mallawa mushroom chip business of the Samber Forest Farmers Group in Mallawa District, Maros Regency. The population is consumers who purchase Mallawa mushroom chip products with the criteria of consumers who have bought or consumed Mallawa mushroom chips at least once, are willing to be interviewed, and are 17 years and over. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling with 30 respondents. The production process for Mallawa mushroom chips, starting from the preparation of raw materials, weighing the oyster mushrooms, shredding the oyster mushrooms, washing the shredded oyster mushrooms and then squeezing them, the process of mixing the ingredients, coating the oyster mushrooms with flour dough, the frying process, to the packaging process. . Production was carried out in two stages, namely the first produced as many as 800 packages, the second stage of production produced as many as 700 packages. A total of 1,500 packages are produced in a month and the monthly income is IDR 2,598,967. The marketing mix including product, price, promotion, and place has a score of 951 in the category of not implementing the marketing mix. Processing business feasibility, R/C-Ratio of 1.4 means the product is profitable and feasible to develop.

Abstract

Utilization of Moringa leaves as organic fertilizer is an easy, cheap and effective solution because of its enormous benefits in terms of the environment, agricultural / food security and socio-cultural sustainability. Mustard greens (Brassica chinensis L.) is a vegetable plant that is popular with the community, and has high economic value. This study aims to develop moringa leaves and coconut water which function as liquid organic fertilizer and growth regulators in increasing the growth of mustard plants. This research was conducted on his research was conducted at the Experimental Garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Halu Oleo University, from October to November 2022, from October to November 2022. A total of 48 polybags of mustard plant seeds were maintained in 4 plots measuring 1x1x1 m with 1 plot containing 3 polybags for 21 days. The research design used was a randomized block design, consisting of 4 treatments with 4 replications in each experiment. The doses of liquid fertilizer for Moringa leaves and ZPT coconut water were P0 (0 ml/liter of water), P1 (150 ml/liter of water), P2 (200 ml/liter of water), and P3 (250 ml/liter of water). observed in this study included plant height, number of leaves, and leaf area. Observational data for each observed variable were analyzed based on variance. If there is a significant effect in the analysis of variance, then Duncan's multiple test (UJBD) is performed. From the results of statistical data analysis, it was found that the POC treatment of moringa leaves and coconut water had a very significant effect on plant height and leaf area, but had no significant effect on the number of leaves. These results indicate that there are differences in good plant growth. The best results on the growth of mustard plants were in the P3 treatment (250 ml/liter of water).

Abstract

The concept of planting, especially in urban areas, is very suitable for implementing a hydroponic system, given the increasingly narrow condition of agricultural land. Plant nutrition using AB Mix Solution is considered to be expensive and also contains chemicals. The combination of AB Mix and POC rice washing water is expected to support the growth and yield of Pakcoy plants to the maximum. The selection of horticultural plants (Pakcoy) is due to the nutritional value and benefits of the vegetable plants themselves. The research was conducted in Experimental Field 1 and Lab. Agrotechnology Agronomy Unit, Faculty of Agriculture, by applying a Completely Randomized Design located under the lettuce nursery in a plastic house. The treatments include 100% AB Mix + 0% POC, 80% AB Mix + 20% POC, 60% AB Mix + 40% POC, 40% AB Mix + 60% POC, and 20% AB Mix + 80% POC. . The parameters to be observed consisted of plant height (cm), leaf length (cm), number of leaves (strands), and leaf width (cm), average wet weight of plants, and dry weight of shoots and roots (gr) calculated by drying yields using an oven at a temperature of 80 0C for 2 x 24 hours. The results showed that there was no significant difference between the combination of AB Mix and POC for all variables with P3 treatment showing higher parameter values than others. However, for the wet weight measurement, P0 showed a higher yield, due to the high water content in the plant

Abstract

This study aims to determine the form of farmer household income strategies and household income capital in Kendena Village, Baraka District, Enrekang Regency in dealing with vulnerability. The research was carried out from November to December 2020 which was located in Kendenan Village, Baraka District, Enrekang Regency. Determination of informants is done by purposive sampling method or deliberately by taking 10%. The data collected in this study consisted of two types, namely primary data and secondary data. The results of the study show that the livelihood strategies used by farmers in Kendenan Village are of the same type of work and some are not the same type of work, and have different priorities. The classification of livelihood strategies in Kendenan Village includes 1.) Engineering of agricultural livelihoods is carried out by intensifying and extensifying agriculture. The strategy of expanding agricultural land (extensification) in Polo Slope Village is still possible for lowland rice farmers because the available land is still large. 2.) Double income pattern. The dual role of livelihood carried out by farming households, husband and wife each work in the same sector, husband and wife work but in different sectors, one member of the household has more than one type of work, each family member chooses another job , usually increase household income to survive. 3.) Spatial engineering is an effort carried out by mobilizing/moving residents both permanently and circularly (migration) in order to seek livelihood sources elsewhere. Farmers who migrate circularly in Kendenan Village, commute every day to earn a living outside the village so they can increase their income to meet their family's living needs.
