Planning of this research include preparing RPP and make research instrument according to the needs of researchers. This study  was conducted for three cycles and obtained the improvement of student learning outcomes in the IPS lesson from first cycle until the third cycle. Student learning outcomes on one cycle obtained indigo with sufficient criteria, in the second cycle obtained the value with good criteria, and the third cycle obtained the value with very good criteria. The increase is one of them is marked by student learning outcomes that are above the KKM. Constraints of this research is one of the difficulty to revise the learning video that there is some negative content and adjust it with RPP. Abstract

This study is based on the problems that occur in IPS learning in class VIII-D students of SMPN 5 Bandung that is teacher-centered in the classroom and the ability of students to think high-order are still low. The alternative problem solving chosen is by applying the Means Ends Analysis (MEA) learning model. Based on the background, the formulation of this study problem is how the planning, implementation, implementation results and what are the obstacles of the learning model Means Ends Analysis in attempt to improve the ability of high-order thinking. Reviewing the problems to be studied in relation to the learning process, the author chose Classroom Action Research (PTK) with Kemmis and Taggart cycle model in 3 cycles with 12 actions. Implementation of learning by using learning model Means Ends Analysis in improving the ability of students high-order thinking are said to succeed. The improvement of high-order thinking ability of students can be seen from the development of aspects that becomeindicators of high-order thinking. All aspects of this indicator have evolved from cycle 1 to cycle 3, from which initially the quality is less, it is sufficient to improve. In conclusion, the implementation of learning model Means Ends Analysis can improve the ability of high-order thinking of students in IPS learning. This is supported by the achievement of all indicators in analyzing and evaluating. Both are in good categories and indicators to create are in enough category.

This can beseen from livelines speak students Who only dominated by somestudents. While other students just stand still and not contributing within toconvey the ideas in front of the class. Seeing these problem, theresearcher choose Time Token Arends technique as a solution to increasetalking students ability. The purpose of this reseach is to describe aboutthe planning, implementation, improvement and reflection of theapplication of Time Token Arends technique to increase talking studentsability. The type of research that used is the class action Research (PTK)model Kemmis and Mc. Taggart which consists of four stages. The resultof this research. First, planning is done by determining the SK and KD,making the RPP and research instrument. Second, the implementation ofthe class action is performed according to the plan has been compiledpreviously so that to obtain the result with the quot;goodquot; category. Third, theconstraints during the execution of the research is to compile the materialsourced from the experience of the students so that they can increasecourage talking students. These constraint can be improved by discussingregarding the design of the materials with colleagues and partners. Fourth, the result of this research shows that there is an increased ability to talk onevery cycle. Cycle one students talking ability reaches the quot;enoughquot;category, the second cycle of students speaking ability reaches the quot;goodquot;category, third adn fourth cycles reach the quot;goodquot; category. Teachers need to overcome these problems by applying creative learning model, fun and can foster students#39; learning motivation, one of them is cooperative learning model of make a match technique. This study aims to determine the effect of cooperative learning model of make a match technique to the motivation of social science learning in students class VIII SMP Negeri 40 Bandung. The design of this study uses Nonequivalent Control Group Design with quasi experimental research method. The samples of this study are 60 students and using 2 classes, namely class VIII D as experiment class and class VIII C as control class. Data were analyzed by using SPSS 17.00 for windows.  The results showed that: First, the learning motivation of students before and after implementing cooperative learning model of make a match technique increased but still low category. Second, the students#39; learning motivation before and after implementing conventional method did not increase. They are less concerned about others seen from behavior, such as: lack of respect to others, and less attention to the teachers and other students. Students seem individualistic and annoy or taunt their classmates with harsh words. From these findings, the author chose to do classroom action research (PTK) with Kemmis and Taggart model. Data analysis technique is qualitative and quantitative. In this study, the author makes observation as much as three cycles. In this study, value clarification technique (VCT) learning model is chosen to guide students to understand, clarify, and implement social care values in daily life including at class. In attempt to improve the students social care character, the author selects five indicators adjusted to the problems found at class. Based on the study that has been conducted, the result is obtained that: first, the planning that has been prepared by the author works well; second, the implementation of the VCT learning model is conducted three cycles with one action in the cycles 1 and 2 and two actions in cycle 3; third, it reflects the obstacles experienced by each cycle; fourth, the results obtained after implementing the VCT model to cycle 3 show that the students social care character has increased.

Abstract

This research background based on the problems that occur in class VII-A SMP Negeri 5 Bandung associated with creative thinking abilities of learners in the social studies learning. These issues are the findings of the observations made at some time in January  2017. Indicators of the problems encountered is the creative thinking ability of students is still relatively low, these problems among which, the students are less able to find  information about the problems that exist in the subject matter. This is evidenced by the  number of students who answered questions teacher from textbooks alone, without any attempt to explore from various other sources of information. Learners are less able to associate the subject matter contained in daily life - today. This indicates that learners are  not sensitive to the surrounding environment, causing learners do not know the state of the  environment. In answering questions from the teacher the students do not think holistically (comprehensive), learners are not able to think and look at various aspects and approaches, but stu is so broad assessment. Reviewing the problems to be studied with regard to the  learning process, the researchers chose a Class Action Research (PTK) Kemiss research  design and Taggart 3 cycles. The selected alternative solutions is through the use of media  feature video is expected tocreative thinking abilities of learners to be increased. The increase in creative thinking abilities of learners in the social studies learning can be seen from several indicators of achievements of creative thinking ability has increased. All  aspects of this have evolved from the first cycle to the third cycle of sufficient quality, to be good. In conclusion, the media use feature the video can improve creative thinking  ability of students in social studies learning.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low interest of students to social science education in class VII-J SMPN 3 Lembang. The purpose of this study is to describe the plan, implementation, result, difficulties, and solutions in the implementation of games method to improve students’ interest in learning. This esearch uses qualitative and quantitative data analysis. This research also uses classroom action research with Kemmis and Taggart model by using games as a learning method. The subject for this research is the students of class VII-J in  SMPN 3 Lembang Bandung. The planning of this research includes preparing lesson plan, preparing games that will be used in each cycle, as well as preparing the research instruments according to the needs of the researcher. This research was conducted in four cycles and the result showed that there was an improvement of students’ interest in learning social science education from the first cycle until the fourth cycle. In the first cycle, to improve students’ interest in earning social science education, the researcher used Bottle Throwing Game and the result showed that the students got low score. In the second cycle, the reesearcher used Ular Naga Game and the result was a little bit better than the first cycle. In the third cycle, Hungry Bunny Game was used and the students got a good score in this cycle. For the last cycle, the researcher used Pokemon Go Game and the result showed that the students got a very good score in the last cycle. The evidence for students’ improvement in learning is marked by the number of students who feel happy when learning social science education, show their enthusiastic, and active in social science education class. The researcher found some difficulties in implementing this research, there are difficult to determine the appropriate game for the students, difficult in selecting material, and difficult in directing the students when playing the games. Those difficulties can be overcome by making a good lesso plan, reading a lot of teaching materials, and facilitate students to discuss with the group, and  also make some rules when the students will do the games.
